Microsoft has released update KB5052100 (build 22635.4880) to Windows 11 devices enrolled in the Beta Channel, introducing minor improvements and bug fixes, but no new features.
This update is part of version 23H2 and is available for computers that haven’t yet upgraded to version 24H2.

Additionally, update KB5052100 resolves a crashing issue with the Home page in the Settings app.
As part of this release, an updated version of the Paint app (version 11.2412.271.0) is available, introducing a new Copilot button to access AI features like Cocreator (Copilot+ PCs only), Image Creator, Generative erase, and Remove background. While the button is new, the features have been available in the app for some time.
Known issues include slowness when closing File Explorer and the appearance of two new enterprise-specific device info and accessibility preferences cards for regular users.
Alongside this preview, the software company also recently rolled out Windows 11 build 22635.4870 (KB5050087) in the Beta Channel, featuring visual improvements for existing functionalities.
For instance, build 22635.4870 introduces a “Your widgets” setting on the Lock Screen page, enabling control over displayed widgets.
It also includes a new policy allowing network administrators to enable or disable the widgets feature.
Moreover, File Explorer has been updated to display a person’s icon under the “Activity” column and “Recommended” tab on the Home page.
This update also incorporates various fixes and enhancements.
