A recovery USB drive acts as a safety net when your Windows 11 system encounters critical problems. This backup solution helps restore your computer’s functionality without requiring a full Windows reinstallation.
Before starting, remember that a recovery drive stores only Windows system files and built-in applications - not your personal data or installed programs. The recommended practice is to make a fresh recovery drive once every year to include the latest system updates.
