The popular Roblox fishing game Fisch is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special limited-time event. Players can earn the exclusive Shamrock Rod by completing a festive quest. This guide will walk you through how to participate in the event and add this lucky new rod to your collection.
Finding Clover McRich
To start the St. Patrick’s Day quest, head to Moosewood Island and look for the new NPC Clover McRich. You’ll spot him easily thanks to the giant rainbow floating above his head. He’s located just behind Captain Ahab near the docks.
Talk to Clover McRich to begin the quest. He’ll explain that his five brothers have been cursed and turned into colorful fish. Your mission is to catch all five fish and return them to Clover’s cauldron to break the curse.
Catching the Lucky Fish
The cursed fish can only be caught during special “Lucky Events” that occur every 30 minutes. Keep an eye on the top of your screen for a notification that a Lucky Event has started. When you see this message:
- Quickly spawn your boat and head out to sea
- Look for a rainbow hovering over the water - this marks the Lucky Event fishing spot
- Fish in that specific area to try catching one of the cursed fish
The five fish you need to catch are:
- Blarney McBreeze (Blue)
- O’Mango Goldgrin (Orange)
- Plumrick O’Luck (Purple)
- Rowdy McCharm (Red)
- Sunny O’Coin (Yellow)
Tip: Use a rod with high luck stats to improve your chances of catching these special fish. The Zeus Rod or Heaven’s Rod are good options if you have them.
Completing the Quest
After catching a cursed fish, return to Clover McRich on Moosewood Island. Interact with his cauldron to deposit the fish. You’ll see one of the shadowy leprechaun figures behind Clover light up, indicating you’ve rescued one brother.
Repeat this process until you’ve caught and returned all five fish. Once the final fish is deposited, Clover will reward you with the Shamrock Rod.
Shamrock Rod Stats and Abilities
The Shamrock Rod has the following stats:
- Lure Speed: 25%
- Luck: 150%
- Control: 0.15
- Resilience: 10%
- Max Weight: 5000 kg
While these base stats aren’t exceptional, the rod has a unique ability - a 10% chance to catch fish with the special Clover mutation. These mutated fish sell for 4.5x their normal value, potentially making the Shamrock Rod quite profitable.
Enhancing Your Shamrock Rod
To get the most out of your new Shamrock Rod, consider these enchantments:
- Hasty: Increases lure speed by 55%
- Resilient: Boosts resilience by 35%
- Quality: Improves overall stats (15% lure speed, 15% luck, 10% resilience)
Pair your enchanted rod with Coral or Deep Coral bait for best results. If you don’t have the Hasty enchantment, try using Rapid Catcher or Instant Catcher bait instead.
The St. Patrick’s Day event in Fisch runs for a limited time, so don’t miss your chance to add this unique rod to your collection. Happy fishing, and may the luck of the Irish be with you!
