How to Find the IMEI Number of your Lost Android Device

Losing your Android device can be a stressful experience, especially when you need to track it. The IMEI number is crucial for that. If you don’t have it readily available, here’s how you can recover it.

Find IMEI Using Google Find My Device

Google’s Find My Device is a built-in service for Android phones. When your phone is connected to your Google Account, Find My Device automatically records its details, including the IMEI number. This works even if location services are disabled.

Step 1: Open a web browser such as Google Chrome.

Step 2: Go to the Find My Device webpage.

Step 3: Log in using the same Google Account that’s connected to your phone.

Step 4: Your connected phone will be displayed on the left side of the screen.

Step 5: Click the information button or the Settings gear icon located near your phone’s model name.

Step 6: You will now see the device information, including the IMEI number. Make sure to note it down.

This method helps you locate the IMEI number of your lost Android device so you can trace it.
