Genshin Impact’s 5.5 update introduces an exciting new puzzle in the Atocpan region of Natlan. Players are tasked with helping Urubamba, a Master Trainer from the Collective of Plenty tribe, locate his missing Tatankasaur whelps. This guide will walk you through finding all six Urubamba Saurian locations, unlocking rewards, and accessing a new Warrior’s Challenge.
Locating Urubamba
Before embarking on your saurian-finding mission, you’ll need to find Urubamba himself. He’s located in the northeastern part of Atocpan, near the Collective of Plenty tribe’s area.
Step 1: Teleport to the waypoint northeast of the Atocpan Statue of the Seven.
Step 2: Head slightly north from the waypoint to find Urubamba’s camp.
Finding the Missing Saurians
Saurian Location 1: The Automaton Rider
Step 1: Head south from Urubamba’s location.
Step 2: Look for a small Tatankasaur riding an automaton enemy.
Step 3: Indwell into a Tatankasaur using the nearby transformation point.
Step 4: Use the Tatankasaur’s Elemental Skill to charge and smash the automaton, freeing the small saurian.
Saurian Location 2: The Tepetlisaur Chase
Step 1: Travel east from Urubamba’s camp.
Step 2: Find a Tatankasaur whelp chasing a Tepetlisaur.
Step 3: Approach the Tepetlisaur and select the ‘Catch’ option to stop the chase.
Saurian Location 3: The Matador Monetoo Standoff
Step 1: Continue east from the second saurian location.
Step 2: Near a lake, you’ll spot a saurian running around a Matador Monetoo.
Step 3: Transform into a Tatankasaur and charge at the Matador Monetoo.
Step 4: Keep attacking until the Monetoo becomes a graffiti on a nearby rock.
Step 5: Hit the graffiti again with the Tatankasaur to free the saurian.
Saurian Location 4: The Hilichurl Pursuit
Step 1: Head west from Urubamba’s camp.
Step 2: Look for a Tatankasaur whelp being chased by a Hilichurl.
Step 3: Defeat the Hilichurl to free the small saurian.
Saurian Location 5: The Cave Entrance Guards
Step 1: Continue west from the fourth saurian location.
Step 2: Find a cave entrance guarded by multiple Hilichurls.
Step 3: Defeat all the Hilichurls blocking the cave entrance to free the trapped saurians.
Saurian Location 6: The Cave Prisoner
Step 1: Enter the cave you just cleared.
Step 2: Proceed deeper into the cave until you encounter more Hilichurls.
Step 3: Defeat these Hilichurls to free the caged Tatankasaur whelp.
Claiming Your Rewards
After rescuing all six saurians, return to Urubamba to claim your rewards.
Step 1: Speak to Urubamba and choose the dialogue option “They are all back now.”
Step 2: Receive your rewards, which include:
- An Exquisite Chest
- A Precious Chest
- A Normal Chest
These chests contain a significant amount of Primogems and other valuable items.
Unlocking the Warrior’s Challenge
Once you’ve completed the saurian rescue mission, Urubamba will offer you a new Warrior’s Challenge.
Step 1: Talk to Urubamba again after claiming your rewards.
Step 2: Accept the Warrior’s Challenge.
Step 3: Transform into a Tatankasaur and complete a timed circuit, collecting coins along the way.
This challenge offers additional rewards upon completion, providing even more incentive to master your Tatankasaur skills.
