Restoring Power to Data Store Charlie
Before you can even attempt to access the secret storage room, you’ll need to power up Data Store Charlie itself.
Step 1: Locate an Atomic Battery. These can be found in various locations throughout the Quarantine Zone, with confirmed sightings in:
- The Dam in northeast Casterfell Woods
- Castle Ruins in southeast Casterfell Woods
- Hidden caches throughout Slatten Dale (use your metal detector!)
Step 2: Make your way to the Interchange facility. Data Store Charlie is accessible from the Slatten Dale entrance.
Step 3: Once inside Data Store Charlie, find the main power terminal. Insert your Atomic Battery to restore power to the area.
Locating the Storage Room
With power restored, you can now explore Data Store Charlie more thoroughly.
Step 1: From the main power terminal, look for a ladder leading to a lower level.
Step 2: Descend the ladder to find yourself in a computation area filled with server banks.
Step 3: At the back of this room, you’ll spot a door with four red lights above it. This is your target – the locked storage room.
Solving the Storage Room Puzzle
The storage room door is protected by an electronic lock that requires a specific four-digit code. Here’s how to crack it:
Step 1: Examine the room carefully. Notice the yellow power lines connecting to each of the four server banks.
Step 2: Each server bank has a button on its front and back, with numbers ranging from 1 to 8 above them.
Step 3: You need to press four buttons in the correct sequence to unlock the door. Each correct button press will turn one of the red lights above the door green.
Step 4: If you press an incorrect button, the sequence will reset, and you’ll have to start over.
Step 5: The correct code is: 5-7-4-2. Press these buttons in order to unlock the door.
