Good Lock's RegiStar Gets One UI 7 and Future Device Support

The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 was released almost two months ago. Since then, application updates have been rolling out with support for the new software. The Good Lock’s RegiStar module has also received an update.

The RegiStar app update, version 1.0.58, includes several changes. Most notably, it officially supports One UI 7.0, ensuring compatibility with future devices running the new software.

Updating RegiStar Through the Galaxy Store

This is the most reliable method to get the latest update for RegiStar.

Step 1: Open the Galaxy Store app on your Samsung device.

Step 2: Tap on the Menu icon, usually represented by three horizontal lines.

Step 3: Select Updates from the menu.

Step 4: Look for RegiStar in the list of available updates. If it’s there, tap the Update icon next to it. Alternatively, tap the Update all button to update all apps, including RegiStar.

New Feature for Foldable Devices

The update also brings a new feature specifically for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The changelog mentions “Actions executable on off-screen added (sound time notification, vibration time notification).” This new addition likely expands functionality when the devices are folded, providing notifications via sound or vibration.

Other changes include a fix for a voice recording operation error, a resolution for an issue where “Mute or unmute all volumes” was not functioning correctly, and general improvements to app stability.

This RegiStar update appears to be substantial, offering both new features and bug fixes.
