Many Windows 11 users face the frustrating TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot error when trying to play Valorant. This error appears even on systems that meet all technical requirements. While this issue can be annoying, several proven solutions can get you back into the game quickly.
Enable TPM and secure boot in BIOS
The most direct way to resolve this error is by properly configuring your system’s BIOS settings. Even if your computer has TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot capabilities, these features might be disabled.
-
Access Settings through the Start menu or press Windows+I
-
Click on System in the left sidebar
-
Scroll down and select Recovery
-
Under Recovery options, click Restart now next to Advanced startup
-
Select Troubleshoot when your PC restarts
-
Navigate to BIOS Setup and press Enter
-
Find TPM settings under Security tab and enable it

Enable Secure Boot in Boot Options
Disable Discord auto-startup
Discord’s automatic startup can interfere with Valorant’s anti-cheat system. Disabling it often resolves the TPM error.
