Need to remove Google Chrome from your Windows 11 computer? Whether you’re switching to a different browser or trying to free up system resources, you can easily uninstall Chrome using built-in Windows tools.
Method 1: Using Windows 11 settings
This modern method is faster and more straightforward than using the Control Panel.
- Launch the Settings application on your Windows 11 computer. Press
Windows + I
on your keyboard, or click theStart
button and select theSettings
icon.
- Select
Apps
from the left navigation panel to access application management options.
- Click on
Installed apps
to view all software currently installed on your system.
- Type “Chrome” in the search field or scroll through the list to find
Google Chrome
.
- Click the three dots menu next to Chrome and choose
Uninstall
from the dropdown options.
