Add multiple timezone clocks to Windows 11 taskbar

Ever found yourself needing to quickly check the time in different parts of the world? Whether you’re coordinating with colleagues across time zones, or just staying in touch with friends and family abroad, Windows 11 makes it pretty straightforward to add multiple time zone clocks right to your taskbar. It’s a handy feature, and here’s how to set it up.

Method 1: Using the settings page

  1. First, pop open the Settings app by pressing the Win + I keys. Then, on the left-hand side, click on ‘Time & language’.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Date & time’ option that you’ll find on the ‘Time & language’ page.
  3. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see ‘Additional clocks’. Click on that.
  4. Now, check the box next to ‘Show this clock’ to enable the first additional clock. Then, choose the correct time zone for the clock you want to display.
  5. Give your clock a name. Then, make sure to click ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ to save your changes.

Note: You can add a third clock by repeating the same steps but selecting the ‘Show this clock 2’ option.

  1. Now, when you click on the time in your taskbar, you will see the additional clocks displayed in a pop-up. You can also see the additional clocks by hovering over the clock in your taskbar.

Things to keep in mind

  • You can have up to three different time zone clocks shown in your Windows 11 taskbar.
  • There’s also the Clock app in Windows 11 that lets you add other time zone clocks, but these won’t show up in the taskbar. You can, however, add those to the start menu for quick access.
  • If you ever want to remove the additional time zone clocks, just go back to the ‘Date & Time’ page in the Settings and uncheck the clocks you wish to disable.
