This plan allows users to upgrade to newer models with a potential buyback value of up to 50% and includes Samsung Care+. This program is experiencing notable success in South Korea.

Samsung has reported that 20% of Galaxy S25 series buyers in South Korea are opting for the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the most popular choice among subscribers.

The subscription plan’s popularity is particularly strong among younger consumers, with 60% of subscribers being between 20 and 30 years old. This suggests a significant interest in acquiring the latest technology and an openness to subscription-based purchasing.

Samsung Electronics’ Vice President, Lim Sung-Taek commented, expressing gratitude to customers for embracing the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club, which is shifting the paradigm of mobile product purchasing. He further emphasized the company’s commitment to leading future smartphone purchasing trends by offering innovative features at accessible prices through the subscription model.
