Information has trickled out regarding this State of Play. Rumors about the event began circulating last month. The insider hinted that it would be scheduled the week of Valentine’s Day, February 14, which proved to be correct.

These hints also include some of the games that might be featured during the February 2025 PlayStation State of Play. Legendary game developer Hideo Kojima has stated that he has been working on a new trailer for the upcoming sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. While not explicitly stated, fans have speculated that Kojima generally works on trailers right before an event, leading many to believe that the then-rumored State of Play was genuine.

Also, the release date for the action-adventure game Hell Is Us was leaked just yesterday. Many believed that the listing was posted early and that it would be included in the then-rumored State of Play because the game was featured in the September State of Play last year.
