Samsung has announced the pricing for replacement parts for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in India. Surprisingly, the display repair costs for these new models are lower than their Galaxy S24 counterparts, despite boasting enhanced display technology.
The official prices for displays, back panels, frames, motherboards, and batteries for both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series in the Indian market have been revealed.
The most effective way to save money is to prevent the screen from breaking in the first place using a screen protector or a case. While this may seem obvious, it is often overlooked.
As an example, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s screen replacement is approximately $54 cheaper than the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s. This translates to a significant cost reduction, particularly when considering the improvements in brightness, color accuracy, anti-reflective properties, and overall display strength of the newer models. The displays of the Galaxy S25 and S25+ are also more affordable than their S24 counterparts, with savings of 28% and 32% respectively.

While display repairs are cheaper for the S25 series, other components such as the back glass, frames, motherboards, and batteries are more expensive compared to the S24 series.
Since display repairs are the most frequent type of repair, the lower cost for the Galaxy S25 series is a welcome change for consumers.
Samsung has not yet released spare part pricing for the Galaxy S25 series in other regions, including the United States. It remains to be seen how pricing will differ in those markets.
